NAARRI conducts awareness programs on various themes encompassing applications of radioisotopes and radiation for the benefit of society. A large number of delegates from industry, academics, students and public are addressed by experts on issues relevant to the objectives of NAARRI. The next awareness programme will be held on 7th & 8th February, 2008 at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. In past NAARI has conducted awareness programs at Changanacherry (Kerala), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Kolkata (West Bengal), Jorhat (Assam), Managalore (Karnataka) on 29th -30th November 2006. The most recent was at Nirmala College.The proceedings of these awareness programs are also published by NAARRI.  Department of Atomic Energy (Public Awareness Division) and Board of Radiation & Isotope Technology (BRIT) play a vital role in these awareness programs. The lectures are given by the experts in the relevant fields from BRIT, BARC and AERB.
