A one day seminar on "Sediment Dynamics and Dredging Planning" was organized at Bombay Port Trust on March 20,1987. The key note address of the above seminar was delivered by Dr. A.L. Bastin of Belgium where in representatives of different ports in India participated.
Another day seminar on "Radioisotopes Applications in Oil and Petroleum Industry" in association with Institue of Reservoir Studies, ONGC was held on December 21, 1987 at Ahmedabad.
A seminar on “ Cross Linking of Cables and Wires” was held in Kolkatta in association with Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association during February 5-6, 1987. The international Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have actively participated in the seminar and provided few speakers on this occasion.
A national conference on "Industrial Applications of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technology" was held at the central Complex auditorium, BARC during February 17-18, 1988 where in more than 450 participants representing industries and research organizations from different parts of the country attended
A two day National Seminar on "Applications of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technology in Industrial Development" was held in association with IIT, Mumbai during February 5-6, 1990.
A one day seminar on "Applications of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technology in Industrial Development" was organized in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association at Bombay College of Pharmacy, Kalina, Mumbai during 1990.
Since 1995 till 2007, NAARRI organized 7 National Conferences in Mumbai on "Applications of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technology and Emerging Trends in Radiation and Electron Beam Technology" in Mumbai
NAARRI organized a Seminar on "Application of Radioisotopes and Radiation Technology in Food Processing and Health Care Products" in association with the Ministry of Food Processing and Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, New Delhi on September 22, 1999 at India Internation Centre, New Delhi wherein about 250 participants from various Food Processing and Health-care Industries attended.
